Interested workers request your job. You see their profile, rating, and their parent's approval status before you pick. Contact details stay private on both sides until you select.

Your payment is held in escrow the moment you post. When you mark the job complete, funds are released to the worker's parent-linked payout account. If a job is cancelled before it starts, your hold is refunded in full.

After each job, both sides leave a rating. Your review helps other neighbors, and a worker's rating helps you make confident picks next time.

What if I need to cancel before the job starts?

Cancel from the job details page and your full payment hold is released back to you automatically.

What if the worker doesn't show up?

Mark the job as a no-show. The hold is refunded and no rating is exchanged.

What if the work isn't done to standard?

Don't release payment. Open a support ticket from the job page and our team will help resolve it fairly.

Is my payment information secure?

All payments run through Stripe. PocketChange never sees or stores your card details.
